Curlew Country public meeting

Curlew Country has been working on the ground since 2015 to save the local Curlew population in the Shropshire Hills and Welsh Marches.

As an emergency measure to try and save the population from dying out, it has put in place an intervention known as headstarting and returned 150 chicks to the natural environment.

Come and find out if we can save our local but significant lowland Curlew population with Amanda Perkins, Curlew Country Lead; Tony Cross, Consultant Ornithologist and Caleb Stradling, Project Officer.
