How you can get involved in helping to look after the Shropshire Hills landscape...

If you're a farmer or land owner in the Shropshire Hills, take a look at the grant opportunities available through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme.  See 'Resources' for other grants and guidance including planning, land management, water protection and legal obligations, as well as support for community projects and events.

If you live in the area, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities to get involved with which help to conserve and enhance this special landscape - find out more by clicking on the Shropshire Hills Landscape Trust. 

If you are a visitor, you can support activities by becoming a 'Friend of the Shropshire Hills.  Your subscription goes directly into our Conservation Fund, which awards small grants to practical projects that help people to care for and connect with the Shropshire Hills National Landscape.
