Introduction to Woodland Management

Want to know more about woodlands?  This is the first of a three day introductory training course about the management of small woodlands and using traditional methods to grow woodland products such as firewood.

Saturdays 7th, 14th & 21st March. Venue near Knighton

The course starts in the classroom (day 1), followed by woodland-based practical training in traditional woodland management skills, such as coppicing and splitting logs (day 2 & 3).
